Yep. It's called paying the price when you break the law. And this has absolutely zero to do with his level of talent. And I hope he has to do a full remittance to the shop owner for damages as well. No room for big headed ee-diotts who think they're above the law.
Man honestly that judge is just a fking b1tch. He's just a fking hater, i bet he only wanted to make the people talk about him for giving Terence such a big sentence for nothing really.
-The shop owner seem to have caused all this, he tryed to hook Crawford, or to get some reaction from him, knowing he had the money.
-Crawford did not had a good reaction, if there was problem with his car painting or delay, he could and should have proceeded by law. Not go with his friend take is car back.
-But overall, he didn't threaten the shop owner.
-He caused dommage on the hydraulic lift because it was said he left the button 'on' after taking his car back...
To me Crawford should have paid money to the shop owned for causing domage, and extra money because he illegally took his car back. I don't know much about Omaha law, but i wonder why it was not seen as a trespass, a tort, but not a criminal act...
Instead, he get 50+ days in jail, 2 years of probation, 120 hour of community work, drug testing, plus extra money to pay for the damage (6k money from a 1.2k worth of domage). All of that because he took his car back from a shop owner who probably didn't had clean hands too?
What about Crawford already playing a big role in Omaha community, helping the kids, been a role model and all that stuff. What about this sentence will bring more harm than good in Omaha community? How is the sentence right for Crawford? He a professional boxer, spending 50 days in jail mean he's not going to train, having probation might mean he wont be able to go fight in other states? How is that sentence going to help Crawford?
watch thd video. it's basically a strong arm robbery. i don't know what he said, because i haven't heard audio, but it's pretty obvious that there was an implied threat of violence. he knocks dude's hands away.
i'm not saying anything about who was in the right regarding the fincanes of the repair work, just that the way crawford went about getting his car back was illegal and thuggish, frankly. huge let down. i thought crawford was a better guy than this.
anyone who has the time or ability to read up on what happened will know that TC got the time largely because of his attitude. Judges hate to see celebrities come in thinking they better than the average
he certainly could have played the contrite, apologetic role and got off easy. like dude, you got money. pay this small time business owner his lil 2k to 4k (cuz you fkd up his property!!!!) and move on. smdh.
you could be right, he got caught lying to the judge
awhile back I got convicted for "attempting to pervert the course of justice"..... that - and similar offenses - are adjudged to have been committed against "The Justice System"..... so, are punished much more harshly
maybe that is what happened to Crawford ?
anyway, apparently he got bail

I would guarantee that the other guy is in the wrong.....
there is a damn good reason why a guy with a clean slate, and a big upside, like Crawford..... chose to behave in that manner
he was obviously reacting to something, and I have dealt with dodgy sleazy mechanics/technicians plenty of times
but, I agree with your post..... fair call, there were other options!
