the judge clearly stated that he has a history and this sentencing was a last straw scenario

Pretty obvious the Judge took this case way too personal. Property Damage and disorderly conduct does not even come with jail time. You pay the owner for damages and a fine for disorderly conduct. He will most likely win his appeal & get out, This judge is just sticking it to him and making things as hard as possible. I heard they also want to give him 2 years probation. Thats extremely insane. He needs to fire his lawyers asap if he gets none of this reversed. Also whoever feels he deserves this is a moron. The shop owner was most likely screwing him around or trying to take advantage so he went there and took his car back. He needed to be smarter in the way & manner he did things but what he did shouldn't have landed him in jail.

You get jail time for property damage? Is that actually necessary? I believe we need more incarceration but more so for actual violent and white collar crimes. This seems a bit of a stretch to jail someone for property damage and disorderly conduct only.
