I bet anything you want, just name it..... that PBC make much better fights next year, just as Berto/Haymon stated.
One thing Haymon is NOT, is a bullshht-artist.
Why would he contact all of the fighters, and why would he make it public?
It's not like that information came from Hoya or Loeffler.Comment

oh so you are happy with ggg and canelo fighting total bums as long as they sell tickets hahahaha......
Thanks for admitting you are a groupie and not a boxing fanComment

Yuri Foreman vs Lara at the start of the year is not something that would break the cakewalk cycle. Why they waste time and money making these kinds of fights is beyond comprehension. So he beats Foreman, so what? What does that do to the sport?Comment

Top Rank and Goldenboy have put on some **** fights, i'm not dis*****g that. But it still doesn't excuse some of the fights Haymon has put up even though he's made some good ones this year.Comment

he could also be charging us $60 for leo vs frampton or thurman vs porter or thurman vs danny which he hasnt done yet....
Meanwhile golden girl and top prank are charging fans for canelo vs smith and khan.... Manny vs vargas and manny vs bradley 3 lmao...... Im glad i didnt pay for any of those ppv scams!Comment

Because a majority of the matchups are still lopsided, and also because this is the whole point, none of these TV fights should be tuneups. There shouldn't even be such thing as a "tuneup" in the era of fighters fighting only twice or three times a year unless they are moving weight classes (except RJJ faced Tony his first fight at 168 and many others have too, they're only half divisions now so fighters shouldn't need to "acclimate" 8 pounds when they're already draining down).
I mean Lara already had an easy fight last time. Why does a fighter who can't sell tickets get two tuneups in a row? Andrade already ****ing called him out. Andrade wants to fight him. That should have been the fight in January.
That's why the hate for PBC. Because fighters like Lara are getting two tuneups in a row on TV channels that we pay for. We are the paying customers. We pay because he want to see competitive, relevant fights. If the fight is not competitive or relevant, put it off TV, and give the TV date to fighters who are willing to take competitive, relative opponents.
That's how I see it right now. Maybe if PBC had built up more good will, and Lara had just beaten Andrade and Charlo back to back, I would say "Lara just delivered, he can get a nice easy tuneup payday on one of these TV shows this time." But since it's just tuneup after tuneup (Adonis Stevenson anyone?) there is no good will built up and people rightfully complain.Comment
