I don't think it was Richard coming back. I think they know the public is simply losing interest the past couple years big time. They cannot keep riding on names alone. The public deserves more. Bob Arum has even been putting on interesting fights as of late. Hopefully 2017 will bring a complete resurgence.

You make a fair, reasonable point but Schaefer knows how to build fights and promote events. I don't think it is a coincidence that he has reappeared now that there are rights fees being paid as opposed to time buys.

Has Arum? The Manny card was good but I didn't buy the fight and few people did. It seems Bob only gives good cards when the main sucks. Schaefer hopefully gives us more cards like 12/10. Only rnegative IMOthing was Lubin wasn't on the main card.

Well the Crawford vs Postol and Loma vs Walters were both great fights to make on paper, even though both turned out to be one sided. Both fights were highly anticipated.
