I'm not privvy to anything' simply pointing out the fact that Andre Ward is the champion, and the champion's promoter is usually the one who controls the event. The fight was a close fight that Sergey Kovalev lost; if you want to keep ignoring that reality, so be it. With the three belts around Andre Ward's waist, Ward/RNS are going to call the shots.

Kovalev's first fight in Las Vegas, where he was the headliner, sold maybe 1000 tickets. As a point of discussion, how many tickets has Kovalev ever sold when he was the actual draw in the fight?
