come on people dude is not going to retire after winning those titles, and the first fight being so close. this isnt the first time a fighter said things like this.
How did Duva jerk him around in negotiations? He got the lion's share of the purse, the only more Ward-favorable venue would have been the Oracle. I don't get how she would jerk him around

O certainly hope he doesn't retire. I don't like him, bit I respect him. He's a great fighter with tons of talent. I just don't understand that comment he made. Why even entertain the notion of retiring, especially when negotiations went pretty favorably the first time. I could understand better if things had been different first go around.

As far as Kathy's mouth, a cougar with a big mouth can be a wonderful thing

yea...cougar Kat looks like she's got a mean milk slurp game.

I think its just mind games.

He flirted with retirement during 2013-2015....dude has been in the game 20+ years.

Except that he didnt whip Hopkins. The fight was close and many had Hopkins edging it.

Not mention Hopkins and Roy both put Joe C. on his ass.

I had Hopkins winning with the knockdown.

I thought Roy lost pretty clearly.

Calzaghe was a very quick, volume-slapper. The night he popped the Jeff Lacy hype bubble was some truly epic **** though.

Yup, same, I had Hopkins winning it. The Roy that fought Calzaghe was a shell of his former self so I cant really give Calzaghe much credit for that fight.
