half still leaves Main Events clearing over $5m on PPV, on top of what Sky Sports paid to air the fight in the UK, on top of what the Canadian PPv was able to generate, on top of what the Mexican TV rights went for, on top of the fight being picked up by a main terrestrial channel in Russia and the rest of the international TV.Comment

Kovalev gets guaranteed $3m, Ward has his guarantee plus whatever net revenue up to a $5m-$6m purse, and then Kovalev gets cut back in if the event earns more than $10m.
in what world is that Kovalev getting more of anything.Comment

Kov took it easy on Ward in the later rounds because he knew he already had it in the bag and rightly so, he out-boxed and whooped Ward's ass.
He won't go easy on Ward next time around, (will Ward even do a rematch? Kov's got him scared thinking about retirement) he's going to bring the pain.Comment

Which i ultimately don't like from the SK camp. Andre was seen as the spoiler who just hugs and can't win vs a guy bigger with more power. Yet he did, and like Floyd v JLC, since it wasn't his usual shutout performance he lostHe's posturing. He's not the first fighter to do it. Hell, Fury did it his year.
He's tired of the shyt talk and crying from the Kovalev camp and is just trolling them.
There's a bunch of idiots here that take it literally though and create threads about it (cough *freedom* cough)...
So a man who fights in a rigorous sport like boxing is supposed to not only jump back into it after playing out his contract, but do so for people who don't honor or appreciate him anyway? Its crazy.Comment

Kovalev made 2m as the champ, plus a percentage of upside which ended up zero. That's much less than your ridiculous proposal.
Hey how's that GGG Jacobs Sho ppv plan? Lol you're a jokeComment

Rather than the $2m, Kovalev gets $3m and Ward gambles the bulk of his own purse on how big the rematch ends up being with Roc Nation running things. Not that difficult.
Tom Loeffler, as he's said on a handful occasions, was allowed to run with the "we're only a couple points away from announcing the fight" bull**** and he's now facing the for sure purse bid on Monday.
You're a joke for, after seeing the story play out as it has so far, still holding on to your insistence that K2 even wants the fight.Comment
