When the fight was talked about, Chavez was actually worth something, before he went off the rails. Nobody (except for Sanchez) wants it now.

Golovkin himself said that Chavez is a joke back in early 2015.

Two events are 2 years apart.

Canelo is following Eubank Jr to 168 to avoid GGG

Chavez/Canelo is a much more competitive fight than either Golovkin/Chavez or Golovkin/Alvarez. I'm fine with it. Plus the build up would be pretty fun as well with the Mexican fans going nuts and the two sides trash talking. Make a good Mexican soap opera.

Will be a fun fight. Just odd b/c of the significant weight/size difference. Also, JCC Jr. has done nothing to suggest he's worthy of such an opportunity

You say that like you've seen a contract. Like Canelo hasn't said before that he would fight Golovkin, only for circumstances to change

ggg is being offered at least 10 mill, while chavez is being offered 5 millio as per ESPN, things could change on the contract but those are the offers... do you expect oscar or k2 to send the media a written copy of the offer??

All I'm saying is that pu$$y has said more than once that he would fight Golovkin. Now we're expected to sit around and wait for damn near another year HOPING this fight gets made
