Red Foxx says it all: Ward is a fighters fighter... Set an incredible bar that even in some ways eclipses floyd... Dominated many word class guys. Ward is sharp shooter accurate, can fight inside so well that he took the fight to Kovalev inside and made the Russian hold on for dear life.

Ward never talks fluff, he is consistant, technically gifted to the degree that he totally outclassed Dawson.

Like Red says the casuals don't like Ward. He does subtle things that go over a lot of heads. But the proof is in the pudding! Its unique to find a guy who has so few weaknesses and can do so many different things in the ring. Ward can beat you with a jab and hook, he can beat you inside, and he has enough power to take you out if the opportunity arises. A throwback of a fighter.

let me clarify one thing: Not comparing Floyd to Ward but I do think it is worth noting that Ward can do things in the ring that Floyd cannot. Now...Floyd can do things that both of them can do, and eclipses Ward in some of those endevours! nuff said.
