Spence is a good prospect but put it in context. His impressive wins are over the light hitting Algieri and the 41 yr old Bundu.
Algieri's big win was Provodnikov, since then he's lost 3 out of 4. As for Bundu, all his wins, except 1, came in Italy, and his claim to fame was lasting 12 rounds against Thurman.
Spence has skills, but being ranked as a #1 challenger, based on his resume, just shows how flawed the system is.
Maybe he's as good as he says he is and he'll fight soon and prove it. Hopefully he won't have to wait because a young fighter needs to fight.

I thought it was most interesting that he said he would actually fight BEFORE he gets Brook. He said January February he would fight again.

That's what he should be doing! Look at Callum Smith, been mandatory for WBC for over a year now, but had 4 fights to be active and ready when the time comes.
