I know Andrade seems too high risk/low reward at the moment, but that would be a great fight. Charlo/Andrade might crown the guy who should be recognized as the best super welterweight.
not without going through lara.he's the best at 154.

Hopkins dismantled Trinidad, Mayweather dismantled Corrales, Lomachenko dismantled Walters....it's a very different thing.
All ended in ko defeats..how long it took doesnt matter..as long as it wasn't a one punch knock out, Overpowering someone would be a fighter moving up in one weight class..doesn't matter who is bigger on fight night if they both make weight the day before..salido overpowered loma because he was much bigger, why? Because he didnt make weight..not because he was better.

He's the move proven, but how long now has it been since he has proved it? At some point past accomplishments have to be set aside in favor of fighters doing more.

Nope, it's about the career, Lara is the best because he has the best resume in the division.

Charlo only defeated a guy that is nothing in this sport like Williams.

And Lara will be the winner if Charlo fights with him

Reusme wise cotto is better than all 3, but he'll get spanked by all of them..Lara is the best due to resume and from 14-15 I would have picked to handily beat jarmall..just not now..he too has wasted his career fighting nobodies..He is fighting Yuri ****ing Forman next lol..But he is the man to beat, just saying the charlos can beat him.

“He won’t engage or try and make the fight entertaining, especially if it’s coming into my favor,” Andrade explained. “He’s just going to survive, try to run, try to do the little pitty-pat counter punches. I’m not about that right now.''

All were completely one-sided beatings that ended in KO's.

It's not just about a knock out, a fighter getting dismantled is when they are completely broken down and picked apart.

Guys being in the same weight class doesn't mean they are actually the same size or have the same natural strength; see Golovkin-Brook, Canelo-Smith, etc...

ON Paper Lara is still the man to beat at 154lb.

He has the pedigree and he has the resume.

Heck, the way he weathered adversity against Angulo, getting off the floor TWICE from monster left hooks and still won emphatically ranks high in my assessment of a fighter.

Too bad we will never see Charlo v Lara.

Maybe a healed JRock v Lara would not be a bad match up. I know it will generate some interest.

or how about JRock v Lemieux as a bounce back challenge?

If I was Charlo's manager I'd keep him at 154 for ~2 more fights, see if we can't tempt Canelo into a fight. If not, then move to 160.
