Andrade has been making idiotic moves ever since he became champion for that first stint. He even re-signed with that same team after making many mistakes. In a boxing world where there is plenty of reason to blame managers and promotional companies, Andrade is one cat that I find highly culpable for his problems... He needs to get his head out of his ass and stay active to rebuild any traction.
    Eh?

Andrade himself said just two months ago that he didn't want to fight Lara and would prefer to fight Culcay. He called Lara an 'absolute last resort.'

True indeed! While he's been talking, the Charlos have been winning!

Hopefully Jermall takes advantage of this momentum. I don't care if he does so at 154 or 160, so long as he doesn't now sit out and sit on this win. Plenty of good fights out there to try for.

I know Andrade seems too high risk/low reward at the moment, but that would be a great fight. Charlo/Andrade might crown the guy who should be recognized as the best super welterweight.

Williams has never beat anyone good. Ever. He was yet another guy being hugely overhyped for beating bums. He looks to be a solid fighter with a suspect chin.

Charlo didn't dismantle him, he was too big and powerful for him. It was close on the cards, Williams just couldn't take the power punches.
            So he dismantled him

              No, he over-powered him.

Hopkins dismantled Trinidad, Mayweather dismantled Corrales, Lomachenko dismantled Walters....it's a very different thing.

Dude looked good against J-Rock, but was being outboxed, with only one point lead after getting the KD. Charlo size was way too much for J-rock, whose punches couldn't hurt Charlo. Charlos punches were hurting J-Rock every time. The size was evident from the get.

Not taking nothing from Charlo, but he's not going to have that much of strength advantage at 160. An active Suanders could fight well enough, would lose. Lemiuex would take his power well enough, lose still. Stevens would lose if it goes 12, but he could test Charlo like he hasn't been.

Charlo will be a top 160 fighter, but there is a reason Stevens and Lemiuex don't have guys like Suanders, Canelo, and Jacobs rushing to fight them. And it's not money.
According to Charlo he purposely stayed at 154 for THIS fight to avoid the perception that he was ducking JRock who had persistently claimed that he was being ducked by Charlo.

                He got his wish!!!

I think you are giving Stevens and Lemieux a little too much credit here.

Stevens will always be a handful even in a losing effort against the elites. Gotta give him that. I was impressed with his showing against GGG.

Lemieux on the other hand, is an out and out BUM..with some power. And I rarely use the word BUM when it comes to fighters.
His team will never let him near any decent fighter with a pulse unless he is being paid a lot of money.

Did he not just pass up a fight with Stevens in favor of a no body with a low low KO percentage?

Lemieux is nothing more than an opportunist.

Would still love to see him square up against Stevens before he is considered for any other money fight.

I don't recall that at all. If you could, send me a link. I was certain that Andrade has been trying to get Lara in the ring, but I may have that all wrong...

Someone needs to educate most of these crude misbehaving misfits of boxing on boxing etiquette and manners.
                    Interesting observation.

Hmm....boxing and etiquette? Interesting one to say the least.

I still remember Tyson biting Evander Holyfield's ear!!!
I still remember Chisora spitting in Klitschko's face!!
I am sure there are many more examples.
                    Not condoning any of it.

But the reason we are still talking about the fight and the multiple threads that have sprung up on this and many other boxing forums regarding Charlo is because of the clinical and chilling , high light reel , sublime KO of an opponent that had harassed him for over a year with claims of being ducked.

Charlo's career and profile has been greatly enhanced!!!

Just my humble opinion. Your mileage may be different
