I will agree that the hyping of fighters should stop, but it won't..For a lot of reasons..One reason is fighters get hyped cause of he country their from or cause a fighter might have some talent..Or cause of the earning potential of a fighter..There are many reasons why hyping fighters will continue..IMO I like to judge a fighter on their resume..It's the best thing we can go on,I find it interesting that most time a young fighter who has proved very lil in the sport will often get more hype then an older fighter who's been fighting for yrs against high level opponents lol..

I don't agree, just cause you like a fighter does not mean you have be a fighter fan..All of us like a fighter more so then another for whatever reason..Objectivity is what separates the fan from the fan boy..

Hype is good, brings attention to the sport. But its up to the fighters to live up to it.

I don't see you hating any foreign fighters.

He hugged his way passed Porter and got whipped at 160.

Yet Brook has done far more than Spence and crucially has proven himself more by fighting and beating higher caliber opposition than Spence has at this point. What I said stands, right now Spence is nothing but hype. He needs to justify his hype by beating top fighters in division and in brutal fashion.

To be fair, while not huge wins the Algieri and Bundu demolitions were legit as hell. That's how a guy who is the truth beats fighters like that. But yeah, he does still need to prove it against the top 10.

Brook hasn't really done far more.

He snuggled by Porter.....who's done nothing...fought Gavin...Bizier...and the Paulie Malinaggi leftover Shenchenko,A fight he was hurt in.
