The fight itself is a joke even on regular HBO. Kirkland hasn't fought since the Canelo KO and really doesn't seem to have a chin anymore.

This is boxing nowadays - just put names together for the sake of making a fight - who cares about establishing real championships in weight divisions and actual contenders and rankings. Boxing fans are just zombies lol - they demand nothing from the sport and keep mindlessly supporting this unorganized, politicized "sport." UFC = drug testing every fight and real champions. You guys need to make the switch to make boxing have to step up its game - hit them where it hurts - pockets.

Roc Nation is a failing company - after Andre Ward cost them millions, now they are set to lose millions by overpaying Cotto in a fight that will not sell.

Dude loves fighting guys who are at physical disadvantages. He needs to fight Bradley, or just retire.

while I agree that cotto should fight Bradley and retire, let's not pretend that Sergio Martinez wasn't the favorite going into his fight with cotto and nobody considered it an unfair fight until afterwards. As far as Marquez, he's been the one constantly mentioning cotto, not the other way around. Cottos resume is legit and he's faced the best fighters available and most of them were at their best when he fought them. With that being said, cotto vs Kirkland is a trash fight.
