Jacobs thinks he's worth more than he is, and he doesn't want to get KO'd for a few million. He'll play along until purse bid, claim it's not enough, then go fight for 1m against Sergio.
Jacobs should get paid about $200k less than whatever Lemieux got paid. David was a legit champion coming into a unification fight. Jacobs is a Mando bringing nothing but his name to the table.

"We've been ready since negotiations started 3 months ago..." says the guy who asked for another tuneup fight before GGG and said Dec. 10th was too soon.

in what universe doesn't that make sense?
You're still not making any sense. GGG is the champion and Jacobs is the mandatory challenger. That means that GGG has to fight him if Jacobs wants it.

It DOESN'T mean that GGG's promoter has to lure Jacobs into wanting it. The challenger should be chasing the champion, not the other way round.

A few is $3 . A couple is at least TWO Quillins. They're offer is going to be $1.5 max.

The question becomes, will G get in the ring with a good opponent? Will G fight on Showtime? Contracts with networks do not matter in case of purse bids. G supposedly got a deal done in one day (one day!) for a fight with Wade and for Brook! Yet he has never once made any deal with any elite opponent! Jacobs isn't even elite!

What are all these Gtards going to say when G vacates? Its going to happen. Canelo is the biggest cash cow today and will apparently move up to 160 some day. G is not about to risk that with a decent opponent. He's only been in with clowns as a pro, he is not going to start fighting professional boxers his own size now.

$1.25 is going to be it. Jacobs is going to have to take it or leave it...Im willing to bet $$$ he won't make more than $2 Quillins ($2,000,000)

Don't you get it? Triple G has to chase the challenger. But at the same time he also has to chase the champion, who was Canelo. But now that Canelo dropped it I guess Canelo has to chase him? No wait, he doesn't cause it's Triple G so he has to chase him either way. He needs to chase guys above his pay scale and below.
