You add the fact that Showtime would then easily have at least 3 months to market the fight (Say goodbye to that March 18th date, as Showtime would be under their own time window), leading to some of those allegedly Golovkin fans even briefly picking up the channel to follow the fight build, and you're drastically overstating the amount of money that it'd cost Showtime.
Because theyre repping a 5-1 underdog with no following, fcuking moron. Damn you're dumb

Jacobs isn't the one asking for extensions.

K2 isn't about taking risks...just look at the cowards that founded it.

do you just make **** up as you go along?

Showtime would NOT be under "their own time window" genius. If the bid happens December 19th, the winning promoter has to stage the bout no sooner than 45 days and no longer than 90 days from the date of the winning bid.

Jacobs is a good fighter yet GGG is a great fighter. Jacobs does not want a GGG fight.

Golovkin is there to be hit. Jacobs hits extremely hard with both hands, and can box.

If Jacobs, America's top middleweight (battling back from cancer to try and conquer the world), wins the fight, BSE has a guy that they can feature at Barclays Center for his 2-3 fights every year and Showtime has another top fighter to consider taking to PPV for certain matchups.

Showtime/Haymon have made their middleweight bet on "Miracle Man" Daniel Jacobs, and walking away from the fight does no one any good.

keep ignoring reality if you want.

                    Great fighters do great things.

There is nothing great about GGG.

                    • GGG has beaten down everyone he has faced with violence and power. GGG is avoided by everyone in boxing. Not GGG's fault no one wants to fight GGG. It would be great to see GGG knocked out by Canelo or Ward. But it might never happen.
