There is no irony here. Wilder just says that Joshua has D level fighters on his resume and because the UK has more love for boxing he has a large following. He is saying that if he was American things would be different for Joshua. To me Wilder's resume has nothing to do with his comment on Joshua.

Molina ain't no test for Joshua he just wants to see if he can knock him out faster than Wilder so they can have a super fight. He's a step down from Whyte honestly dude.

        Wilder has fought tougher opposition

People have to understand the difference between tough opposition and unknown fighter they aren't the same. An example would be when Maidana and Matthysee came on the scene people eventually over the course of time began to realize these guys were good even though they had some loses in the US early on. Wilder has fought better fighters but Joshua is coming along nicely as well.

Makes sense to me. Wilder is feeling his oats. He is definitely improving. Starting to look like a puncher. thats going to be his game and if he can get some seasoning he might make a go of it...if these guys ever fight each other!

Joshua is a tremendous athlete and I think his fight against Whyte was more of a notch on his belt than most gave him frankly.

The thing Wilder has to learn to do is pace himself, set up his attacks, set traps and cut the ring off properly. Heres my take: its easier for Wilder as a puncher to reach his pinicle first...and become more able to land than Joshua. Joahua potentially could do a lot more in the ring, but, as seen with Whyte, will have a bit of a time with guys who are more mobile heavyweights. Joshua with all his talent and with his considerable power, is not quite the pure puncher that Wilder is.

If Joshua has fought D level then Wilder has fought Z level.

Wilder has beaten 3 top-10 heavyweights and a 4th one doped to get out of the fight.

Guys who dont care if they win or not. But even those guys diserve respect for earning their money the hard way. Its a dangerous sport.

Err... Not really.. Add Wlad & Fury to that list & automatically that list reduces to 1 (& that is quite a reach with Stiverne)...

What Wilder said about Joshua is 100% true, but applies to him as well.. Resume vs Resume they are pretty much on par & there is no gaping difference...

At this moment in time, he most definitely is. in his 'prime' no he wasn't. but he was still a C level plodder in his prime.
