I know it doesn't fit you agenda (Brook is black and g string is white) but biggest reason the fight did well is because of what Brook brought to the table.

These dudes are by far reaching. They act like GGG is on PPV evey time he fights in the UK. They act like Brook wasn't the reason why it did good on PPV. They act like GGG wasn't getting boo'd when they actually fought. Lol. GGG vs Canelo won't be on PPV in the UK if it happens and why is that? Because it's not against a popular UK fighter.

And btw, no boxer can be a PPV draw by himself, not even Mayweather. They all need an opponent, or there isn't going to be a fight.

As you say it was the fight that was the draw and not just one fighter or the other. If Brook could make the same money fighting anyone else then he should have fought a lesser fighter and saved himself a broken bone and a KO defeat.

Brook vs Spence might end up on Sky PPV, but it won't get anywhere near 600K buys, unless it shares the bill with an AJ fight. And Brook's profile is much higher in the UK now than it was before he fought GGG.

So what? GGG vs Lemieux was PPV, Ward vs Kovalev was PPV too.. both fights sold less than 200k.

Brook also now has a bigger name. People from the UK has said it. Eubank jr was more popular than Brook before that fight.
