Jarrell Miller has already said that Haye has ducked the opportunity so the WBO is giving it to him.
That WBO decision has NOT been made yet. Duco events (If Parker wins) wants to know if Parker can make a voluntary defence while they wait for Haye. Haye may still turn down the shot because a Joshua fight could be around the corner. Haye isn't ducking anyone. Briggs wanted it on PPV & wanted a %. He priced himself out. Haye is his own promoter & he will do whats best for Hayemaker Promotions. I'm not sure about this Miller stuff...

Yes, Haye will do what's best for Haye and that so far has been ducking any legitimate fights and waiting for his cash-out option with Joshua.

What would be better for his is if he could get a strap in the mean time so he has better negotiating power for a better split in a Joshua fight. Unfortunately he doesn't seem to rate his own abilities that highly otherwise he would take the Parker/Ruiz fight.

Haye/Bellow is PPV while any other fight including a WBO title fight is not. Briggs is not PPV nor was the Lucas Browne fight. Haye offered Browne 2 million & he turned it down. Haye can get a title shot anytime. He is highly ranked in all but it is all about money & nothing else. Haye may have fought Briggs if Fury didn't fall from grace by vacating. That changed everything & then the Tony Bellow PPV fight fell in his lap. I can't blame him for taking that fight instead. Haye has real issues staying healthy so I doubt he will fight unless it is for the big money he wants. If the Bellow fight didn't happen he would be fighting the WBO champion. That could still happen but we will have to wait.
