bellew has got a point. people cant take it for granted that hayes not a shot fighter, hes only come back cause hes skint so i doubt hes been doing much sparring over the last few years and has done no competitive fighting. saying that he would have to be completely shot to lose to bellewComment

Other way around buddy. I don't like David Haye in the slightest - but without him (well, the drama and the throwaway fight that's been signed), Bellew ain't much worth talking about.Comment

No mate, Haye is dropping out of that opportunity to take this fight. He has 120 days after December 10, and the Bellew fight is on the 4th of March, so he's turning down the shot.It is about money & the Bellow fight is on PPV where a fight with Briggs would not be. I laugh at Bellow as Haye gets the winner of Ruiz/Parker for the WBO title. He could of waited it out or he would have fought Briggs for a decent payday on one of his self promoted shows. Instead Bellow called out Haye for a PPV fight. Bellow would not come close to this type of money fighting any CW. Bellow needs Haye more...
Jarrell Miller has already said that Haye has ducked the opportunity so the WBO is giving it to him.Comment

Been out of the loop for a few weeks. I had no idea about the Miller situation. I hear you but really Haye could of easily took that WBO shot instead of the Bellow fight but PPV in the UK is way better then a fight with either Ruiz/Parker winner. It still is Bellow who needs Haye more. Haye had options for lucrative fights rather it was this fight or any fight he could host himself. He was making money putting on his own shows against C level guys. Bellow is not even the best CW so the chances of him losing are pretty good in that division so getting Haye now in a PPV fight makes a lot more financial sense. This fight would never happen if he wasn't the WBC CW champion. This is Bellow's cash out fight because I don't see him beating Haye nor do I see him beating any of the other CW champions for less money. No mate, Haye is dropping out of that opportunity to take this fight. He has 120 days after December 10, and the Bellew fight is on the 4th of March, so he's turning down the shot.

I went from not giving a ****ass about this fight to being pumped as hell in 15 minutes. This will do mad ppv numbers if they can keep this tension going for the next 3 months. Haye was on fire during the p/c, but he did an interview with iFL right after and he was close to tears. Like an emotional crash. Crazy shti.Comment
