Comments Thread For: Tony Bellew: David Haye Needed Me More Than I Needed Him!

After months of verbally trashing each other, WBC cruiserweight world champion Tony Bellew (28-2-1, 18KOs) will finally get his man when he move up to the heavyweight division to face David Haye on March 4 at the O2 Arena in London.

The press conference might be box office the fight shouldn't be.It's no secret that Haye just wants the risk free fights and the money .Bellow might not want to admit it but he is the easy option and i'd be surprised if he's still there after two rounds....sorry, again Eddie is conning the public with another top of the bill mismatch .

I think Hearn promised Haye a Joshua fight at the end of next year if he took this fight.

Even if it is a mismatch I'm still looking forward to it.

I enjoy these type of build ups that stem from resentment for one another.

Plus I'd really like someone to shut that big gob of Bellends.

what a load of bs. This is free money for little effort for haye,...exactly what he loves.

Breidis would of KO'd you for little money so Hearn is cashing you out to be KO'd by haye instead

It will be a fun fight as long as it lasts, but it might be short most probably.

I tried to get tickets, but I'm late. It's already sold out.

Yes I did enjoy the whole press conference and the pushing and slaping at the end its a must watch even tho I think its an easy fight for Haye.

Ps ive tried to obtain tickets for the last 4 AJ fights with no luck the Kell Brook Fight with no luck and today the Haye Fight again with no luck . . .

Unless your willing to pay £200 plus for a ticket in the second hand market stay at home and watch it.

It is about money & the Bellow fight is on PPV where a fight with Briggs would not be. I laugh at Bellow as Haye gets the winner of Ruiz/Parker for the WBO title. He could of waited it out or he would have fought Briggs for a decent payday on one of his self promoted shows. Instead Bellow called out Haye for a PPV fight. Bellow would not come close to this type of money fighting any CW. Bellow needs Haye more...

Tony Arsehole can't do an interview without saying ''make no mistake about it'', ''simple as that'' and ''that's all there is to it''. The fkn coward should be fighting his mandatory, but he knows he'll get ten times that getting ko'd by Haye. What a greaseball Bellew is but credit to him for yapping his way into a big bucks fight with Haye.

It's sad when a 'fight' as crap as this sells out the o2 ,to date we don't even know the undercard but Eddie has a habit of putting fights as main events ppv that really shouldn't be topping major shows let alone warranting PPV status ... Eddie and sky are taking the piss here.
