Wait, never mind.........
Promoter Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions, who handle IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (33-0, 30 KOs), says a fight can certainly be worked out with WBA super middleweight king Andre Ward (28-0, 15 KOs).
But the deal would have to be under Golovkin's terms and not dictated by Ward. Loeffler feels Golovkin has surpassed Ward as a ticket seller and in terms of name recognition - making GGG the A-side of the negotiations...
The Ward fight is there, although it's unlikely Ward will agree to a weight of 164 and a 50-50 split.
“GGG is now clearly the ‘A’ side yet Ward still would want to dictate terms, which makes no sense,” Loeffler said to ESPN. “GGG would fight Ward on a 50-50 basis, the best 160-pounder versus the best 168-pounder [at] 164 [and] a 50-50 split on all proceeds. But it seems like Ward needs more tuneup fights.”

Now that's Sanchez and Loeffler! Is that good enough for you?

SMW's will fall under the LHW category as there is no SMW division in Olympic boxing.
Shaun Porter was a MW as an amateur and has a win over Danny Jacobs.
Is Porter a professional middle weight?

Ward saying they said 2018 is just lame. What's funny, is they said 2017. Why isn't Ward pointing that out.
My guess is Ward knows he got beat by Kovalev. GGG would put a real hurting on him.
Even funnier, Loeffler is beating Ward on the ticket sales, knowing damn well GGG would put a hurting on Ward. In all due time. GGG should get the WBO, beat Jacobs scared a$$, and then maybe one 168 title and boom, on to Ward, who at that point will likely have been still coming up with reasons not to give Kov a rematch.

Dummy
Hint: it had nothing to do with him not being able to make MW

Originally posted by SplitSecond View PostSanchez is a ******, all he talks is sht. As for the rest, who's lying? They never said they would never fight Ward at 168. Actually, wasn't the proposition was over 50% if Ward wants it at 168 (which Ward would never agree to being the diva that he is) or 164, 50/50.
