I thought that too after Kokietgym and the first Martinez fight, but the Martinez rematch and Vargas fight changed my mind. After all, Salido has been up and down like an elevator for most of his career. Getting dropped isn't a new development for him

Salido used to have one of the best chins, he'd rarely get dropped and if he did he was straight back up.

When? In 2004 when he lost to JMM? Other than that he's been down in most of his big fights. I just had a look at BoxRec and apparently he went down against some journeyman a couple of fights before he fought Marquez too. On the other hand, he ate powershots like nothing against a decent hitter in Vargas in his last fight. His chin is basically a mystery

He's been dropped a few times in his prime years but since Lopez 1 his chin has deteriorated considerably
