I want Loma vs. Rigo above all.

    Salido rematch after that.

Then start angling his way towards a Garcia fight.

If he beat Rigo it would sky rocket him up the p4p list.

Second, they already tried to get a rematch but the terms could not be agreed on.

      Your move, slick.
Was Salido vs Martínez a super fight?

Like I said in another thread, one guy is in his prime years while the other is a fading shopworn warrior. Why would someone give Loma credit for beating Salido at this point?

It's my opinion. Idk what the whole your move, slick was about.

If Lomachenko and his fans felt like he lost that fight cause of fouls and weight then he shouldn't had had a problem beating Salido in an immediate rematch, right? Whether it was his 2nd, 10th or 30th fight.

Well another problem with the immediate rematch was that Salido could no longer make 126 and he moved up to 130. I think Loma was right for taking a few more fights at 126 before moving up. But I agree that the rematch should happen next before Salido is shot and/or can longer make 130. I just don't think a rematch now would be useless.

Never mind the slick comment, its just me being a smart ass like usual.

I would put him in whichever unification fight I could make for Jan/Feb then the Salido rematch in the semi main on the next Manny card.

Gotcha. I just don't think it would get him a whole lot of credit if he beat Salido at this point. But I may be wrong since a lot of people seem to prefer that right now.

Salido looked pretty damn good against Vargas, I thought. I had him narrowly winning that fight. I was picking him over Miura too

He's had a couple of stumbles since the Loma win but he's still a formidable old warrior. A mini-legend in his own right, IMO

Salido is bordering on shot at this point.

I don't see him moving down for Rigo - Rigo was adamant on not moving up from 122 because he said he can still make 118. I think they're too far apart for a catchweight. I just watched a few rounds of the Salido fight lastnight and Lomachenko is noticeably bigger versus Walters. There's technically only a 1 pound fight night difference between his weight for Salido and for Walters, but his legs and back and arms are all visibly bigger. I think the Rigo fight is history.

He should look to rematch Salido, there's enough hype for it and Bob Arum knows it, the Mexicans will come out and support. It's the natural fight to make for money and comp.

Lol yea I guess when you're expecting Salido to show signs of being faded he still shows up to fight and win.

I thought that too after Kokietgym and the first Martinez fight, but the Martinez rematch and Vargas fight changed my mind. After all, Salido has been up and down like an elevator for most of his career. Getting dropped isn't a new development for him
