Not sure what Ward is talking about, I could understand if it seemed he took the fight with Kovalev and made a lot of concessions, but what concessions ? Previous post was correct, he got home soil, US judges, the lions share of the purse, what did he have to concede to exactly ? What concessions is he now looking for from Kovalev ?

Only thing I can think is Oakland, and to have an even greater share of the purse than before, which, like the judging in the fight, just sounds unfair. If the aim is to make their demands completely unacceptable so that Kovalev walks away, how is that going to win him any friends ?

Jeez - a bit of humility and just say the negotiations will be fair instead of Kovalev has to bend over. Ward didn't have to bend over, so whats the agenda ?
