my thoughts exactly. ward made 5 million for this fight, and i doubt that it broke even. now he's implying that he wants a bigger slice of the pie when the key selling point is that most observers gave the fight to the other guy?


if ward and his people swerve a kovalev rematch it will be an awful look. i don't think that they want to, but we have to hold them accountable in negotiations if they ask for too much money. one fighter didn't draw that huge crowd. watch ward try and sell out a high priced arena vs alex brand. that fight was sold as a matchup between the two best poiund for pounders who campaign in the same weight class, and that's why it was a big fight. not because of andre ward exclusively.

You are right but what If Kov plays the angry Russian Drago and Ward the brash American rocky and they actually work at selling I think they could generate enough interest.

Kov only speak in Russian except to bad mouth America. when he does it, he's got to really do it. USA sucks, etc etc.

Ward could play the brash pro American and act like the only robbery was him not getting the win by a larger margin.

you have to be a dumb ass to fight someone like Kov after inactivity...no excuses either way...he had no fights in 2014 and fought 1 time in 2015

both were active...the fight wasn't in Oakland...you cried about that.....ward hugging doe...bwhahahhahahaha ends up Kov does most of the hugging and all the headlocks was warned several times

look forward to a more dominant performance out of SOG in the rematch.
