I'm surprised more people on this website know more about boxing than JMM and have more right to express their opinion than he does! lol

But EVERYBODY knows Guillermo Rigondeaux is Pound For Pound #1. I have Ward at 3. I also thought he lost the fight 114-113.
Ward would have probably topped most lists if he'd won clearly. Nothing to do with the colour of his skin, man. And I got plenty of love for Rigo - I'm one of the 'eye-test over resume' guys when it comes to P4P, but firstly I think Rigo is nearing his sell by, and secondly in raw talent I think Lomachenko is his equal - at least.

Or proved that Kovalev actually has some balls to fight someone with a pulse. Funny how supposedly people are ducking Golovkin but somehow no one is ducking Kovalev, the bigger guy.
Kovalev will fight anybody in his own division, and so will GGG. No difference there.

And Stevenson and Beterbiev both ducked Kovalev, Stevenson ducked him twice.

I think what he means is that Kovalev losing proves GGG is better P4P, not that GGG would beat Kovalev if they fought each other.

WTF is Marquez talking about? That doesn't make any sense at all.

If anything this fight suggests Kovalev is better, and Golovkin has a long ways to go to prove otherwise. Let me know when he has a fight with anyone half as good as Andre Ward, let alone wins in the eyes of most boxing fans.

obviously kovalev beats ggg at light heavy. But always thought GGG is the better fighter than kovalev pound for pound.

I know its not a popular opinion but its night and day and he's shown it at at the highest level.

                      GGG gets whitewashed by Ward
Kovalev is flatout better than GGG in every department.

I agree, I think Ward would outclass him.
