Kovalev has already said he made a mistake by holding back. And no one said facial damage was anything more than facial damage. But in THIS case, it's the markings of a beaten fighter. Kovalev landed more, harder punches, kept pressing forward, and he was the champ. I'm not sure what language you speak there bud, but it certainly isn't normal English. I'll call this one a career. Talking out the side of your neck. First you deny that you tried to use facial damage as a judge for who won a fight and then come right back and say it's the mark of a beaten fighter....classic! Secondly, just because Kovalev said he held back doesn't mean he actually did. To a whole lot of people he looked plain old tired! Come back when double talk isn't your language of choice. The one thing I will say, Kovalev did look dead tired at the end and admits he was very tired, which is strange considering that he didn't throw as many punches as previously done in past fights.

if that happens..... then I will congratulate Kovalev for achieving something that he failed to do in the first fight

but, that is unlikely imho.....

I said that the first fight will go to a decision, and that a Ward decision was the most likely outcome..... and I definitely feel that the rematch will unfold the same way, with Ward winning a close fight
