So much pain in this thread. I'm not mad at his statement esp when the people in here complaining about his overconfidence are the same ones who can admit he faded at the end of a fight. While you in a fight if you notice someone's efforts and output drop, their strength wane, them become more vulnerable offensively and defensively it can feel like you're taking their heart

I guess the judges did not think that Kovalev looked much like a champ when he struggled to win a round during the last half of the fight, and then forget to show up in the championship rounds

All speculation obviously, but he did win 2 of the last 6 minimum. I had it 8-4 + the knockdown. And many other fans had it at or near that score. You have you opinions, I have mine. No sense going round and round about this between us anymore.
