I watched the fight a second time and scored seriously and neutral.
I had it 114:113 for Kovalev
Yes it was a close fight and you could score it ward also. But given that Kovalev was the real champ here and Ward the challenger im realy suprised that all judges had it for Ward....
well im sure there will be a rematch and thats the good thing about it. Kovalev has a loss on paper now but it has been a good fight by both and think there is no loser in this one.Comment

I wanted Ward to win , but I honestly don't think he deserved it. Kovalev was the champ and when you have a close Rd that's difficult to score then it should go to the champ .Comment

Except for round 10. That was the round where Wards best move was an attempted bolo for which he received a stiff jab knocking him back across the ring. No judge scored that round for Kovalev, where he clearly outlands and bosses Ward yet they score every close round to Ward where one punch (in either guys favour oddly enough) was the only difference between the two.
I'm not sour, but it is suspectComment

Ward literally WRESTLED the belts away from Kov. I can't watch another Ward fight if this is how he does it. He literally picked Kov up almost completely off the floor. No foul called. I was so looking forward to this fight and that decision ruined it. I hope he retires.Comment

Kovalev 116 Ward 111 (4 rounds for Ward) -- I'm on line with JDJ. ... you can give Ward another round even, it's fine with me. But Kovalev won, fair and square, no question.Comment
