Every boxing expert doesn't agree Kov won. And there is no way in hell that this decision ranks up there with those fights. Most of these rounds were extremely close and no matter who won, a rematch would have been desired. No need to be so dramatic. Each fighter will have a chance to prove or disprove the result. I hope it happens early next year.

This was a close fight and ive watched it over and over again and i come hip with the same conclusion that kovalev won it 114-113. I am a fan of both, i was kind of even leaning towards ward to win because he's american and am Olympic gold medal winner but the tenth round was the difference. When kovalev won that round there was no way for ward to win except for scoring a knockdown. There are a couple real tight rounds that could have gone either way but if it's even it should go to the champ and also i gave ward the benefit of the doubt on a couple of those rounds and either way kovalev won. This wasnt a robbery the magnitude of pacquiao bradley but a robbery nonetheless.

Bottom line is ward would have needed to win every close round for the score to be 114-113 and he definitely didnt. It seems like the judges favored his backpedaling and body work in the clinch rather than kovalevs stiff jabs and clean power shots in those close rounds. Even kovalevs jabs hurt ward which is why ward was running and then going on the inside to clinch and throw body shots.

After the KD, Kovalev wasnt connecting with more than 1 punch at a time, and he was getting hit. He ran out of gas and he also thought he had the win, which is why he lost. If he stayed aggressive, he would have won imo, maybe even won by KO but he didnt do enough. Ward won, time to accept it kids

You can give those to Ward too in this scenario actually; Kovalev then wins 114-113.

As I said, there's no way around it; there's only one real winner in this fight and it ain't Ward (or Vegas, Roc Nation, corrupt judges, etc)

He loled at round 4 for Kovalev when right after Kova diminated WArd once again with the right hand and clipped him with tha jab while pushing him in the ropes. These ward fans are de****able!

I know right? Kovalev clearly dominated the fist half of the fight; in fact Ward was holding on for dear life if he wasn't on his bike. As I said, it doesn't matter; give a couple early rounds to Ward too, give him a couple of those swing rounds down the line, there's still only one winner when wearing objective glasses.

Dominated? That's what you call dominating? The 4th round was a domination by Kovalev. Christ, now I see how he won in the eyes of his stans

For whatever reason, Kovalev seemed to have stopped fighting after the 5th round, landing one punch here and there, while Ward was working the body which goes largely ignored by those who wanted him to lose

For some reason, out boxing Ward and beating him to the punch and dominating outside and nullifying his inside game in that round isn't domination. I guess to you, Kovalev has to kill ward in order to win a round.
