Reminded me of Mayweather vs Oscar when Oscar took his foot off the pedal as the drive ended.
My preference is usually with the aggressor if he makes the opponent engage but Ward did a nice job as the fight moved on.

I can see both sides but does it really make a difference who won?
They need each other to earn so big deal! They should fight a different opponent in May or June and come back against each other in Nov.

Then when Koval wins a decs. they could finish it out in March.

Who do these guys have out there to make any real money with.
Stevenson? OK add him in the mix and stretch the calendar out.

I had Kovalev close. Ward took over the last half, but he didn't dominate. Kovs took at least two of the rounds, one clear. That, plus the knockdown, had him edging it by a point or two.
