I had kovalev winning by one point, he dominated the first half of the fight. Ward's body shots took a toll on kovalev late in the fight.

Aside from the obvious robbery (As soon as I heard 114-113 I knew BS was about to happen), why the flying F is Ward allowed to clinch like no other? Excessive clinching if f'n illegal in boxing. No man should be able to clinch that f'n much and not get points deducted. There were some rounds where Ward started with a clinch, absolutely unreal.

Yeah but good look getting my money... the contender, not the champ gets out worked, and knocked down. Not exactly a straightforward robbery.. but I truly believe that ward did not do enough to secure that victory

What's even sadder is how people don't care that Kovalev was robbed. They just wanted to see Kovalev lose under any circumstances. Kovalev won that fight 7-5.

A fight doesn't have to be a whitewash to be a robbery. It was close but very clear. At worst that fight was 6-6, in which case Kovalev wins because of the knockdown.

Also the crowd was lame, any little jab Ward landed would cause them to erupt

I'm pretty much done with boxing, I'll watch the rematch but I can't be enthused about this sport anymore.
