I had it 114-113 for Kovalev.

There was one round I gave to Kovalev which could've went to Ward but another round I gave to Ward that could've went to Kovalev.

That my friends is what you would call a split draw. But at 40 to 1 Vegas was not having that. Very surprised at a unanimous decision. Hard to comprehend how none of the judges seen it for Kovalev. Or none of them had it a draw. Just speechless.

That's my problem with the scoring. Hearing a lot of 'it comes down to how you score,' but all three favoring the same tactics? I must be the only one that didn't enjoy the fight, the non stop clinching just kills the flow for me. And I still cant comprehend sky sports salivating over every jab landed by ward while completely ignoring head snapping jabs from kovalev.

You're missing my point entirely then. What I'm saying is this was no robbery. Clearly this fight was close, therefore by definition it's not a robbery. I person would like to have seen a draw, rematch and fight again. What I'm arguing against is people who are saying it was a blatant robbery and won't admit it was a close fight. You can disagree with the decision, that's fine, but a robbery it was not.

I'm not upset with the result. Because my buddy and I watched it and I was telling him that Ward was edging most of the rounds when Kovalev would land a couple hard shots that made the announce team go crazy. I'm just curious as to how they came up with the scores. 114-114 is a draw in a 12rd fight. When they announced 114-113, I assumed they had scored it six rounds apiece, with Kovalev winning because of the KD.

Ward was picking him apart after the 4th round. Body work hurt Kovalev several times. The jab snapped his back countless times.

Kovalev lost

The sky broadcast basically said everyone else aside from Paulie and Macklin around them scored it for Kovalev. Kovalev is often off balance so people think Ward hurt him. He did not. A lot of those shots didn't even land.

Disgusting judging.. I knew the fix was in when I saw that bum lady singing the russian anthem.
Also when the fans chaired like crazy evertime ward landed or where close to land.

Even virgil hunter belived kovalev won, before the tenth round virgil Said ward had to win the 3 remaining rounds, he did'nt win the tenth round and before the 11 round virgil Said ward had to stop kovalev.

Kovalev is the champion, he dominated big the first 5 rounds. Landed combinations something ward never did, had a KD and outboxed ward.
Ward won 3 rounds and those where close rounds.
Ward and virgil was banking on wards stamina with clinching and body punching..

But I take comfort that kovalev will win big in the rematch, make no mistake about it
