Most impressive part of this win for ward is how damn strong the dude is. He out muscled the naturally bigger LHW, and Kovalev was taking Sambo classes.Comment

If judges know the tapes, this was Kova's first fight not "closing" the ring he's known for. Kova left his jab second half of the fight. Ward found spots. I saw it close tbh. But lets be real, if it wasn't for the knockdown, nobody would by hyping this more than it should be. Boone floored both of these guys. This was obviously Kova's toughest fight. Whats ironic even in the inside, Ward looked good against Kovalev since the illusion wad that Kova would be stronger.
Ward has been bona-fide his chin. He needs more credit!Comment

Dude..in the land of the blind the one eyed man is King....If one guy is swinging for the head and missing and the other is landing straight lefts to the body....we'll the guy that's landing (body or head) will when the round and that's what happen alot of those round. Kovalev became inactive for 2.30 of each of the later rounds it seems.Comment

Let's not forget though, and I felt bad for Kova in the post ring interview. He was all stuttering and unsure of himself. He didnt even state empirical things for how he shouldve won like most boxers do. What is he going to say, "I knocked him down.." and what? The fact is Kova knows he didn't do more than he shouldve. The problemwith boxing is that everybody heard Krusher would win by KO and be too much...
Sht guys, this wasnt a Pascal or BHop bout. LolComment
