whats to laugh about yanky boy? your american ringside analysts had it for kovalev as did most of the world including your messed up country. thing is with you "good ole boys" is that you just dont know when you are beaten......the list would be endless of defeats youve suffered in just about everything ever! laughing boy.

I had it 6-6 so Kovalev winning by one point because of the knockdown in round 2. Super close fight though I was expecting a split decision. I hope a rematch is next.

I'm not even interested in the rematch.
1. Because we have to be anti-Ward!
2. I've said it before Kovalev is a pretty basic fighter. He probably won't win the rematch since Ward will adapt better and even if Kovalev deserved the rematch as well he still wouldn't get the decision.

I think you're underrating Kovalev. He was a beast against Pascal in the rematch.

He looked completely unbothered by Ward's power. I think he comes out aggressive and Ko's Ward within 6-8 rounds.

Terrible decision! Even Ward was surprised! Don't know where they get these judges from because from where I was sitting Ward lost!

They were both clinching, Kovalev was headlocking Ward all the time, and Ward was the one mostly trying to work on the inside.

There's no one to blame for the clinching coz they both did it and both were warned numerous times.

Boring fight, it proved both fighters aren't close to number 1 pound for pound. Crawford is way more impressive than what we've seen from Ward...wrestling....wrestling....Kovalev tired (he's got **** cardio and spend his little energy like a dumbass). Then then obvious happens, Ward is able to win rounds on points. Everything went like i tought it would and it was boring.

that was an excellent fight! boring? naw, not to me, just a high level chest match between two high level boxers. ward is the new tbe!

That ref was handpicked. Where's Bayless? He allowed Ward to wrestle all night. I like Ward but can't stand his style like BHop. Just not pleasing to watch. I dunno how some can consider this type of style as "great boxing".

Yeah we have like 100% opposite perspectives on the fight. It seemed like Kovalev got away with everything. He had a low blow late in the fight (was warned, but it was still a bad punch), he "fell down" when he was absolutely gassed and exhausted (he needed a break), and he held/clinched Ward all night long...especially in the first half of the fight. I get that Ward clinches often in his fights, but it was mostly Kovalev clinching from my 1080p HDTV
