If I was the winner of Kovalev/Ward, I wouldn't fight this clown next! He hasn't done anything to deserve it. He would have to go out & beat two top five in the division first. This is what a lot of Haymon fighters do, they wait around for other top fighters to beat each other brains out while continuing to fight bums. Then when the smoke clears, they call out the fighter who made it out on top. So call champs like Stevenson are guys you don't pull for to be the undisputed champ of a specific division because they will hols the belts hostage fighting bums. The funny thing about it all, I believe Stevenson has a chance to beat any fighter in his division!

Somebody has been paying attention to the play of haymons playbook....haymon started and perfected it with the Head ****** Clown ....feed the fans chicken**** and tell them its chickensalad....play the race.card when they dont get in line and bam you get all the ****** clowns in line....Others and I don't fall for this type of hoopla and after The Dud Of The Century people have been getting hip to the strategy behind PBC (Protecting Boxing Cowards)......Go CowBoys!!!!

You'd be wrong in thinking so

A few examples showing the difference:

Garcia was RING champ after beating Khan, Lineal after beating Matthysse

Mayweather was RING champ after beating Guerrero, but (universally) lineal after beating Pacquiao.

Canelo was RING champ after beating Trout, but was never lineal at 154 (Mayweather became lineal after beating Canelo)

And as above, Stevenson is currently lineal, but the RING championship is currently vacant

With so many people confused as to the difference, it only highlights how irrelevant the lineal system is becoming

This is one of the reasons why shaffer and haymon were leeching of gbp....they wanted to buy out odlh because the gbp outfit owns the ring mag and the rankings...(that brand is worth money)...now with that scheme they pulled of at Waddell and Reed and NO ring mag or golden boy outfit to show for and their own Protecting Boxing Cowards (PBC) brand they are knee deep in the hoopla.....dont believe me????? So to sum it up:

We got:

• One guy (Ward) who absolutely refused to fight Stevenson in 2014 when offered a two way fight and a shot at a second belt...

• One guy (Kovalev) who's awesome management team chickened out of a purse bid at the closest we've been for that fight to actually happen...

And the bad guy is Stevenson ... All 3 have been suckers at times in their career...

Pascal, as WBC mandatory challenger (75/25 on the purse bid) wanted at least 50/50 on the fight which Stevenson rightfully balked at; Pascal's camp calls up Main Events, offers the WBC mandatory position, Main Events happily agrees and gives Pascal 55% of the pot.

Hopkins, upon Stevenson's move to Showtime, wanted to take 75% of the money for their unification fight; Hopkins calls Main Events, offers up his belts, Main Events happily agrees and gives Hopkins 75% of the available money.

Ward-Stevenson is basically down to the timing not being there.
