You're missing the point. GGG deserved $4/5million for fighting Brook because the fight generated enough income to justify paying him that much. Hearn made a profit from the match and so did everybody else involved.

I hope Kovalev/Ward sells enough PPVs to justify Andre's $5million guarantee, but it's a big ask, and if Kovalev had asked for the same amount the fight wouldn't be happening.

Boxing is all about the money. That's why it's a bad idea for promoters to pay boxers more than the market for a fight justifies.

If Haymon hadn't been doing that then Danny Jacobs would never have got $1.5million for fighting Quillin and he would have jumped at the chance of challenging for GGG's titles for that amount of money, instead of pulling his ridiculous "I deserve more than 2 Quillins for this" crap.

I agree. It gets bad when boxers dont admit that its all about money and they start saying they will fight anybody when its not true

This fights already sold a sht ton of tickets and is looking to be close to sold out.

Why do you tell everyone don't worry about what GGG makes and then worry about what these two make

So your OK with wasting money on SHT fights??? As long as you get 4-5 of them to make up for that 1 good/great fight that is more expensive??

Whenever a boxer says they will fight anybody, we should all assume they mean "if the money's right" without them having to say it.

I'm not worried about anything, just stating my opinion.

If I thought Ward was going to win, then I might be worried, because he would likely price himself out of every option afterwards and end up hibernating 3 world titles the way he did with the WBA SMW belt.
