Kovalev is not being underpaid, it's Ward who's being overpaid you dumb ***s. Duva and Main Events are paying Kovalev fairly in terms of his popularity, how many asses he puts in seats etc. On the other hand, Ward is being paid like a mega star while he can't even fill the Oracle, his home town arena. RocNation is going under because of **** like this. They paid him millions to fight Alexander Brand for *** sake.

Why is it bothering Hunter what Kovalevs purse is? Thats not what he should be bothered about in this dangerous situation. He should be bothered about Wards health in this dangerous fight against this hard hitting animal. Anyway, 2 million is not underpaid, 5 million is overpaid. 2 million for one fight is still a great purse no matter what some other few fighters earn. Most people would be happy they could make 2 million in their whole life.

I'm all for boxers earning their worth, nothing more nothing less. When people asked me do I think mayweather was overpaid(hbo era), I would say no he's earning a percentage of the revenue HE generates, so who cares how big the number is? Ward is overpaid in every sense that roc nation will lose money.
