If Ward was able to get a 5mil guarantee then more power to him. RNS is notorious for overpaying their fighters and I'm having trouble seeing how they profit with such a guarantee. That's thier business and as a fan I only care about watching a good scrap. I could care less what each fighter agreed to as far as pay goes.

This fight has no hype outside of us diehard. I don't see how it cracks 200k buys and it a shame as it's a true 50/50 fight between 2 top pfp fighters.

Again.... I'm no Duva cheerleader but I don't see why she should have to take a bath here just because RNS is willing to end up in the red after all is said and done.

Did you see the coach "debate" yesterday? After months of JDJ talking mild shyt and Virgil being silent, John was just falling over himself complimenting Virg and Dre. Taking back things he said. Then, Virgil talks about camp Kovalev being ***********al. Then, how much he respects Kovalev and JDJ, but also their team is fuqed. Lol. Strangest shyt ever.

Trolling of the first order by Virgil, there's few better ways to get in a prideful man's head than insinuating that he's being hoodwinked. And the reference to Russia's history was masterful - bloody, horrific and fascinating it's also a source of great national pride for her people and could have engaged Kovalev in all the right places to make the pay issue sting.
