It's just an opinion and biased as a promoter. Floyd doesn't like other people's opinions, but he sure has a lot himself. Floyd also thinks that Canelo shouldn't fight Golovkin and that Golovkin should leave Canelo alone and move up (to 75?) to fight Ward. Nobody but Leanord Ellerbe is going to agree with everything Floyd thinks. I personally think Gervonta Davis has an insane amount of potential and should at least be on Crawford level by now, but he's not...Floyd clearly doesn't have that opinion otherwise he'd push Gervonta much better - I just found out the kid is fighting tomorrow. I think Keith Thurman is a great image for American boxing and I'm inclined to think he'd be a bigger draw under Top Rank, but different promoters work in different ways.

Davis is 22 whereas TC is 29. He goes from fighting nobodies to fighting a titlist, wheras TC was consistently fighting decent competition until he got to Postol. Floyd is basically throwing him in the deep end. If Pedraza kicks his ass, the blame should fall mostly on Floyd for not building up his fighter properly.

That would be the wise move...But DAMN!!!! Pac gave Arum EVERYTHING??? I've always loved PAC's loyalty. Even Floyd called him ****** for giving Bob soo much $$$$$.

Crawfords kind of F'd though. You know Top Skank and their MILLION fight extension BS. He kept the Chavez Jr. GGG fight from happening when Chavez actually cared about boxing. Same with Garcia. I have a feeling TR isn't going to make the same mistake with TC like they did with Floyd.

I agree with a lot of what Floyd says about Crawford being a great fighter who could be promoted better.

It took me a while to come around on him, but I believe Crawford is the real deal.

like I said to the other kid, that's a fair point...I'm merely pointing out how opinion's differ. Furthermore, that's bad promoting by Floyd, going from straight bums to Pedraza (not that I think Pedraza can deal with Gervonta's speed). Gervonta Davis wasted the last year having the same exact career he had in 2013, 2014, 2015 - it's not till this fight that there's any real movement.

The only way to find out is to ask. It wasn't Haymon who blocked Pacquiao vs. Broner, it was Broner! Haymon made a deal for Crawford vs. Molina Jr., so I think Garcia vs. Crawford can happen!

maybe but molina is a b side that haymon doesnt care about. he isn't beating anyone decent regardless. he was easy to sacrifice

It's going to be interesting to see how things play out for Crawford in 2017. Arum now has the dilemma of trying to secure fights for Pacquiao, and yet Crawford wants to fight the same people, or Pacquiao himself. Arum tried to make Pacquiao vs. Broner, but I'm sure Crawford would've loved Crawford vs. Broner! Crawford wants a piece of Danny Garcia, but so does Freddie Roach! If Garcia wins, will Crawford get a shot, or Pacquiao?

I think pacquiao will get first dibs being that his opponents will make more money with the level of difficulty being about the same, plus they will get more exposure in a pac fight.
