    top 10 ATG

who cares if you pick SRL to beat him at 147. Still top 10 atg

    lineal at 130 -- 147 17 lbs diff
SRL lineal at 147 to 160 13 lbs diff

    PBF lineal at 130, 135, 147, 154.

Floyd is much smaller, went higher and is very competitive vs anyone in history at 147.

I don't get into the TBE stuff because I'm not gonna sit here and pretend that I'm an expert on past eras, where all I know is what I've heard that's been passed on down through the generations and old grainy video clips

Floyd may not be the most aesthetically pleasing, and people can debate how much of his great career was a product of matchmaking (then again you say that with just about anybody) and other circumstances, but fact of the matter is Floyd was leaps and bounds the most difficult fighter of our era to beat, and it's not even close.

I don't know where he ranks all-time but he's at the very least in the discussion...you don't go 49-0 and become the richest fighter in the history of the sport without being great.

That's an interesting way of looking at things. It seems simple but judging a fighter by how difficult he is to beat him is overlooked. Pacquiao's style is one that wins in spectacular fashion but can also lose in the same fashion also. While Mayweather has one that is very hard to beat. Doesn't really look impressive in singular wins but taken as whole is extremely impressive.

Of course it's an opinion. Let's add that it's a very ****** and ignorant opinion.

Wouldn't the ignorant and ****** opinions be those of the posters who blindly rank men ahead of him that THEY NEVER SAW FIGHT?

As to the TS, Floyd may not be TBE IMO, but if he is in someone's opinion so what? He has more of a case than any fighter in the last 35 years other than SRL and maybe RJJ, which is why he consistently gets ranked in the top 10-20 boxers of all time.

Wtf? It's all about resume. Harry Greb surpassed Floyd's resume in a single year!

And neither of them would be in the 'TBE' among sane folks.
