Is ggg currently in negotiations to duck Jacobs?

i wouldnt say any of them are 'elite' fighters. if you want to get into technicalities, i guess if you are second best 160 that technically means you are the elite of that division, but when i talk about 'elite' im thinking of a pound for pound top 10 level guy and jacobs is nowhere near that. i dont think theres an elite fighter at 168 or 160 other than ggg. i dont rate canelo much either to be honest, when he fought an elite fighter who was considerable smaller he lost every round or near enough.

There's two, maybe three elite fighters at 175.....

You've admitted that Jacobs would be the slickest fighter hes fought at 160 though.

And you know hes the most elite guy at 160 outside of ggg at this moment.

But somehow I cant call him a slickster elite.

well we are going round in circles, and its probably boring you as well as me lol. so for the last time im just saying just cause hes probably more slick than gggs opponents doesnt make him a real slick fighter. Hes not really fought anyone whos slick, so just because jacobs is a bit slicker, doesnt make him a 'slick' fighter. his strengths lie in his power punching and not his defence. i think you took a shot in the dark that he was an awkward slick fighter but you havent actually really watched him, didnt look too slick to me when pirog was lighting him up.

Again, in my OP I estimated this fight to be worth about 5mil. Which I think is pretty much top dollar for this fight. But also fair IMO. So if we work off the 5 mil theory, then I think it would be only right to offer jacobs 2mil. 3 mil goes to ggg.

60/40 split.

Now if were talking 3.5mil pot at 60/40. What incentive does Jacobs or ggg have to even take the fight? Thats an insult to both of em.

i'd say theres a lot of decent fighters there, i wouldnt say any of them are top top level. THey'd all be massive underdogs with the bookies against GGG. but 168 isnt filled with elite fighters either either, people go on about jack and degale but both struggled with lucian bute, who someone like pascal whooped and froch who was top level, absolutely demolished when bute had his 0. and groves beat degale and jack only just beat him. they arent amazing fighters really at all.

Maybe there is a limit to how much "slick" that ggg can handle and maybe jacobs just meets the threshold.

I swear the last fight Max must of had a bet going or something cause he said it probably 200 times.
