If Manny loses, he takes a fat paycheck back to the Philippines! If Manny wins, he gets a chance at an even fatter check vs. Crawford or Lomachenko! Either way Manny comes out a winner! If a KO loss to Marquez doesn't hurt his legacy, neither will a loss to Vargas at age 38!

The Marquez KO loss definitely hurt his career, he got punched in the face and didn't get up for 2 minutes.
