I don't think I completely agree with him on the rematches that Manny had. If it's a good fight and was competitive or the decision was close and controversial, then why not? I don't think it has too much to do with a lack of options.

    Great fights deserve great rematches.

Now, fights like Mayweather vs Pacquiao having a rematch, no. No need for it.

The present Pacquiao doesn't have a lot of options.

The Bradley fights weren't necessary IMO either.

Mayweathers only partially right on this.

Lol Floyd is exaggerating to make a point, 5 guys 20 times. Pac did fight 12 fights consisting of only 4 guys though. I thought the pointless one's were the third Morales fight, a rematch with MAB, and a third fight with Bradley. All the JMM fights were warranted, and an immediate 5th one would have been okay, but now it's pointless, with JMM not having fought in 2.5 years

4 guys 12 times is still very repetitive. If it weren't for Marquez declining a fifth fight and Mayweather declining a rematch Pacquiao would have fought the same few guys nearly 15 times. If you average that out that's a trilogy for each fighter.
I agree with Floyd's overall sentiment. If Pac loses now they will blame it on age, however they wouldn't be wrong. Pac is over the hill now and I wouldn't be surprised if he has a tough time tomorrow night.

Floyd isn't completely wrong, it would've been great to see both Mayweather and Pacquiao fight take on the younger generation!

Heck even in fantasy land like a Prime welter Mayweather and Pac vs the likes of Brook, Porter, Garcia, Maidana, Thurman, Spence, And Bradley would've been great!

Pacquiao vs Porter or Maidana was a fight I wanted sooo bad

Then Mayweather vs Bradley or Thurman is another *sighs*

Pac should've stayed retired, but seeing him come in at 144.8 is beastly and shows he's still disciplined enough to be in great shape!

              TO be fair.
Pac is OLD and definitely not what he once was.
              Too many wars.
I believe he started boxing at 16.

The truth hurts, but Pac is old. Not that Vargas will beat him, but throw in some the new talent at WW and Pac will be in some trouble.
