I remember watching this video on youtube of some random street fight where this russian guy that looked a LOT like a younger kovalev complete murk some dude.

Again I have no idea if it was actually kovalev but maybe somebody knows the video im talking about.

There is a story that he was robbed at knifepoint by a group of older kids when he was a youngster, then went back and 'dealt with them' after he learned to box. Another in which he got in altercation with a coupla of guys at a shop who tried to hit him up for a few roubles after his car got stuck in snow who then brought some friends and he ended up having to fight off eight or ten with a tire iron. Says afterwards he figured he shoulda just offered the guys the money to help him out of the snow drift.
