yeah its a fact floyd won and its a fact manny landed more punches. those things usually dont go together in a boxing match. you think the guy who landed more should lose oh yeah and his punches were much harder and cleaner. just admit it you are a floyd fan and are glad he won. there's no shame in that. just dont pretend you are some respectable impartial boxing fan.

how to score boxing:

clean punches-manny, landed more and his punches were more flush
defense-manny, got hit less and when he got hit not as flush
ring generalship, subjective category but imo the general is someone who is in control and manny was forcign floyd to hold and bend over just to keep up. those things are illegal and floyd would not have done them unless forced to hence manny wins this category.
effective aggression-another subjective category but i would say manny won this as well

how can you watch the video and think floyd won? ignoring who is landing the cleaner punches is rational and impartial? how??? i can understand getting it wrong on the night of the fight watching it live like many did but you can't pretend to be impartial and rational now when you have the facts and choose to ignore them.

You backed Manny to beat Floyd and he didn't. Not only did Manny lose, he lost so clearly that no one on his team even suggested he won after the fight and his own network made it clear to him he didn't win.

how can you be a stylistic nightmare if your opponent outlands you and lands better punches than you? i really don't understand that and no one has ever had an answer for that. they just say but floyd won. yes i know he won but why did he win? how?

Floyd actually threw more punches and landed at a much higher percentage. He controlled the distance, dictated the pace of the fight and basically cut Manny's work rate in half too.

He easily won the fight, 9 rounds to 3. Manny had a few good moments here and there but he was fighting Floyd's fight almost all night.
