Shoot, Saunders catches some type of injury every 3 months. If he is even able to get a fight off the ground next year, I'd be impressed.

All pretty simple - Saunders has been hanging around to auction off his belt to the highest bidder, and that's going to be Canelo. So totally predictable.

The belt is valuable to Canelo as he can then use it as leverage in his negotiations with GGG, so he's going to be willing to pay more for it.

Saunders is everything wrong with boxing right now - will be good when he's out the picture and we can get back to a situation where the belt isn't being held hostage.

It's all about the demand for the fight, more than an individual fighters popularity.
Lewis was already popular before Tyson. Casual knew him. You can't compare Lewis to Canelo. It's not even close. You GGG fans vastly overrate his popularity. He can't even afford to pay his opponents a decent purse. That's how you gauge popularity. When you can pay your opponents a decent purse because you know you can make money on the fight. Cotto and Canelo, and even Lewis could pay their opponents a decent purse because they were so popular their fights made money. GGG/Lemiuex barely broke even with a $3.5 mil purse.

Links to your statement? it could be 300K fight where Canelo carried all alone with almost 52K @ Cowboy stadium no one, nobody else has done that and that my dear hater MOFO is a FACT.

Jesus I feel like I'm speaking to 3rd graders when I talk boxing with a Canelo fan. It's not about comparing ggg to Lewis or Canelo to tyson or any if that. Again, it's about the demand for a fight. Holyfield was more popular than Lewis and had several successful ppvs. Lewis only big ppv fight before tyson was vs holyfield. So it's a fact that holyfield was a bigger name than Lewis. But Lewis vs tyson outsold tyson vs holyfield because the public was more intrigued by that fight than they were with tyson vs holyfield because the perception was holyfield was on the decline when he fought tyson. Cotto is a bigger name than ggg but the perception was that he was too old and small to beat Canelo. Similar to what people thought about holyfield vs tyson. Ggg is seen as a prime champion who would likely beat the bigger named star in Canelo. Just like Lewis was seen as a favorite to beat the more popular tyson so it added to the intrigue. That's why I think Canelo vs ggg can surpass cotto vs Canelo ppv sales.

He said he wanted to have a few more fights before the GGG fight anyway so I don't mind this.

You are comparing Lewis to GGG. You used Lewis as an example. GGG not only sold only 150k PPV he's coming off his lowest rated HBO fight since before Murray.

WBO got the sanctioning fee from Canelo. Now they'll be sucking his d1ck like a $2 whore.

You, just like them are probably scared to see Canelo get handled and beaten up so you will agree with the coked up tales Oscar feeds the sheep.
Very clever to try and flip flop my quote but it's full of inaccuracies as Canelo has not "sold out" arenas in all of those locations BUT only in NV and TX nor are your ggg ppv numbers and prices from $60 to $16 accurate to show dwindling popularity. At the end of the day, I'm siding with the fighter that wants the fight to happen and you're siding with the fighter and promotional company who clearly have continuously avoided paying decent $$$$ to fight good fighters. You, just like them are probably scared to see GGG get a loss so you will agree with the coked up tales of "CRAZY MONEY" offered AND Jacobs IS WORTH more than $25%
