Very clever to try and flip flop my quote but it's full of inaccuracies as Canelo has not "sold out" arenas in all of those locations BUT only in NV and TX nor are your ggg ppv numbers and prices from $60 to $16 accurate to show dwindling popularity. At the end of the day, I'm siding with the fighter that wants the fight to happen and you're siding with the fighter and promotional company who clearly have continuously avoided paying decent $$$$ to fight good fighters. You, just like them are probably scared to see GGG get a loss so you will agree with the coked up tales of "CRAZY MONEY" offered AND Jacobs IS WORTH more than $25%Comment

that is pretty-much what I think
if Canelo fought BJS/Jacobs/Lemiuex, or maybe even Eubank, he would likely generate 400k-500k
Cotto/Canelo will likely generate 700k-800k PPV's
Canelo/Golovkin could generate those numbers, but would most likely be around 500k-700k....
..... Canelo would likely get 60%, or at least 55%, and Cotto would be much easier to negotiate with as well as to fight
hard to imagine that fight not happening, unfortunately
Golovkin should have taken the 10mil just to secure that fight, because Canelo will fight Saunders after Cotto
I didn't buy it for $70 but SHT I would of bought it for $16 and had a BBQ!!!Comment

Yes, just like Pac should have taken the flat $40m offer that Foyd made, that you and other idiots on this site implored him to take up. Take the damn money, Pac, said the business geniuses of BoxingScene.
And like all you idiots used to say at the time....."where else is Pac gonna make $40m in one fight?"
Same posts, same questions. Same idiocy.Comment

this may be hard for you to comprehend but I'm not a ggg fan.Im a boxing fan who wants to see the fight get made and I can clearly see that Canelo and golden boy don't want the fight but they play games to make it seem as if they do in order to save face. It's baffling to me how anyone can even defend Canelo after all of his nonsense with fighting amir khan who hasn't been a champion in any division for 4 yrs, playing games with catch weights for 3 yrs, and refusing to weigh in on the day of the fight. And yes, Danny Jacob's is worth more than 25% but him asking for another tune up fight before facing ggg is a joke since he just came off 2 fights with Sergio mora.
"And refusing to weigh in on the day of the fight" LOL...I'm sure this ONLY applies to CanYELLOW for U.
"Jacob's is worth more than 25% but him asking for another tune up fight before facing ggg is a joke since he just came off 2 fights with Sergio mora. - Then CALL his BLUFF??? Again I call BS!!!
"I'm not a ggg fan" YES you ARE. Don't lie man. ANYONE who reads your post can spot you a mile away.Comment

Jesus I feel like I'm speaking to 3rd graders when I talk boxing with a Canelo fan. It's not about comparing ggg to Lewis or Canelo to tyson or any if that. Again, it's about the demand for a fight. Holyfield was more popular than Lewis and had several successful ppvs. Lewis only big ppv fight before tyson was vs holyfield. So it's a fact that holyfield was a bigger name than Lewis. But Lewis vs tyson outsold tyson vs holyfield because the public was more intrigued by that fight than they were with tyson vs holyfield because the perception was holyfield was on the decline when he fought tyson. Cotto is a bigger name than ggg but the perception was that he was too old and small to beat Canelo. Similar to what people thought about holyfield vs tyson. Ggg is seen as a prime champion who would likely beat the bigger named star in Canelo. Just like Lewis was seen as a favorite to beat the more popular tyson so it added to the intrigue. That's why I think Canelo vs ggg can surpass cotto vs Canelo ppv sales.Comment
