Serious question regarding where Boxing stands

I consider myself a hardcore fan. I boxed a little before the age of 10 and after and followed the sport a long time and just like you, I have lost a lot of interest in this sport. Sometimes I feel guilty cause I didnt know X fight was coming up or missed it but then I think, can you really blame me? I'm on the same boat as you so I understand where you're coming from. At this point I'm not sure if I'm here and follow the sport out of just pure habit or if I still feel something for it. At times I tune in to a fight as well and don't even pay attention to it like I used to either.

My sentiment exactly,like when I come to the forum and read that juanma fight was on saturday..Boxing is not a dying sport,but I can honestly say its dying within me.

I agree with you..But dont fans pay for their fights and stardom?Shouldn't it be give what the fans want?.
I remember I used to watch all undercards and and the main fight,no fast forward no nothing,now if there is a decent fight the will put is the main one and/or the undercards is nothing but to showcase an specific fighter.I mean,I remember watching cotto vs delvin rodriguez,or ward vs edwin rodriguez,even Canelo vs Khan and I am thinking what is this.I am not going to lie,I am a fan of brawlers and everytime I am watching those fights I daydream reminiscing carrillo corrales or marquez vasquez and of course barrera morales..Make me want to you tube those fights and forget what I am watching.I am not talking about the style but the excitment is not there,the thrill is gone and it is a feeling everybody have,just look at the bets,when the fight is like 12 to 1,what do you expect?
